Becoming Efficiently Creative: You CAN Make Money With Your Skills

You’re here because you have a creative skill. Maybe it’s already making you money, or maybe you’re hoping that it will. Maybe it’s hard to imagine that it can make REAL money. I am here to tell you- it can!

I am passionate about being EFFICIENTLY creative. If you want to make money with your creativity, you need a plan and the right mindset. You have the ability to turn your ideas into a paycheck, but only by being efficient with your skills. I see so many people with amazing talent, ideas, and skills, yet those things don’t translate into profits because they lack the strategy to get from point A to point B. A lot of people want to create and focus on their art- which is great!- but that’s not all there is to it if you want to make money from your creative endeavors. It doesn’t have to be terribly complicated, but it does need to be purposeful. And I think you have what it takes to do this! If you love the idea of getting outside the box and creating your own income, this is the place for you to get inspiration, motivation, and strategy.

I believe a few important things about creative business:

1. I believe that creativity and efficiency are equally important. I know you are awesome at whatever it is that you create- music, fine art, crafts, writing, videos, or cupcakes- but do you know how to sell the good thing you make, and grow it as a business? Do you have income goals, or do you dabble? Do you make a little but want to make more? Do you have a talent that people say you should turn into a business? Do you even want that? It will take some skills using the other side of your brain, but I firmly believe you can be good at both!

2. I think that everyone is creative- that creativity is a part of who we are as humans. When we think of creative businesses, we often think of making art, or crafts. Maybe music or writing. But there are SO many things that are creative. Heck, I think that being an entrepreneur of any kind requires creativity! Don’t underestimate your skill set if you aren’t an artist or crafter in the traditional sense. There’s a niche for you in creative business, I am sure of it.

3. I am enthusiastic about harnessing the power of the internet to carve out your own lane, and ultimately, your own income. And I believe you can do that on a tiny starting budget! The internet is so amazing. Sure, it comes with some negative stuff. But, what a time to be alive! Thanks to the internet, you can have an idea and sit down one day, and get started on your business. Depending on what it is- it may cost you little to nothing to get started. Of course, I believe in investing in yourself and your ideas. But in this day and age, you can just…put something out there. You can write a great post, flip an item you found at a thrift store, launch a podcast, post a video, or share your artwork. You don’t need an investor, you don’t need anyone to take a chance on you, except YOU. We have what we need at our fingertips, and with very little overhead and startup money, we can simply begin.

Thank you so much for joining me on this journey! I am so excited to see what you can do as you harness your creative energy, the power of the internet, and your efficient plan to make an income!
